Thanksgiving this year was a little different. We have never had Thanksgiving at our house before but this year we did. Jon's family came to us, but luckily Kris (Jon's Mom) did all the cooking. I however, and proud to say, that I made some pretty good mashed potatoes. Second time of ever making them. We ate pretty early because we had other family to visit, so Kris spent the night before getting prepared. I can honestly say I have a whole new appreciation for anyone who has made a Thanksgiving feast. What a process it is to have a Thanksgiving dinner. I know that Kris was up at 4 am to do something with the turkey, bless her little heart. I have to say it was fun getting to spend time with her. Jon took charge of the boys so I got to visit and watch her work her magic in the kitchen. Before we ate Kris wanted the kids to do a couple of crafts. After round one of Thanksgiving dinner, we went to my parents for dessert but of course we were so full we could barely take a bite of anything. Then we made our way to Grandpa and Grandma Bowen's house, where we got to visit with more family and was offered more dessert.
This was one of Judd's preschool crafts
