We blessed Stetson in August. We had thought we had rented the neighborhood clubhouse for the after party, but later found we had put in for Saturday instead of Sunday. When we went to fix it, the clubhouse was already booked. So, we crammed over 50 people in our house, which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I am so mad that I didn't take the camera out before Mistie and Cortney left.
Jon did a really good job. I am always impressed with his blessings and the spirit that is felt during them. He has a way with words, which I do not. I feel like a blubbering bafoon when I speak in front of large crowds. Stetson was very good during the blessing; however, Uncle Casey said he did try to kick himself right out of their hands.
My mother-in-law bought Stetson's blessing outfit as a gift. I was explaining to her that I was frustrated because I couldn't find what I was looking for. A few days later she gave me an outfit that was perfect. Everything I wanted, soft and snugly.
I don't know what I would do without my Mom. She is the most giving woman you will ever meet. I had mastitis the weekend of the blessing and seriously thought I was on my death bed. The Saturday before she came and helped me shop for food, prepare it, and clean. I was so stressed and as soon as she said she was coming down to help, a weight lifted. She will never understand how much it meant to me.
My mom & mother-in-law, Kris. She makes the best frog eye salad you have ever eaten.
Family is so important to me and I am so thankful that we all could come together to celebrate my little Stetson. I love all of them and can't thank them all enough for coming and bringing something to eat to the shin dig!
My sister, Kim and hubby, Jim. Where's your smile Jim :)!
My little Remi was a mess. He hadn't taken a nap so he was double "oc." OUT OF CONTROL.
