Soccer & Big Boy Bed

I missed the boat for signing Judd up for soccer but fortunately enough an opening came up and Judd was placed on a neighboring team.  He has never played before but he was sooooo excited for his first practice.  So excited that I almost put a fork in my eye the entire day.  He woke up in the morning and asked in 5 minute increments if it was time for practice yet.  Practice didn't start until 7pm, so can you kind of feel my pain?  I didn't get any pictures of the practice but they are sure to come in the near future.

We had to dress him like Joe Winter because it has been freezing.

These bad boys were purchased at Ross for 14 dollars and he adores them.

Waiting patiently for practice.

And still waiting......

Since the baby is just around the corner we thought it best that we get Remi situated with sharing a room with Judd.  Jon informed me that none of our purchases would be made at IKEA because he hates putting their furniture together.  Well, we found this gem at IKEA and Jon took one for the team and put not only the bed together but a dresser.  He may have cussed up a storm but he did it with grace :).  Remi loves his bed.  It is one that grows with them so right now it is itty bitty.  He has slept in it now for two nights straight, and not one problem...knock on hard wood.

I am feeling a little more relieved that the boys are situated and now my nesting is in full bloom.  I am so excited to have this little crumb grabber!

March & Easter Activites!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt.  I went with my cute neighbor Jill and her 3 girls.  I also took Amanda's kids since she just had another set of twins come home!  They had fun but there are so many kids that you were lucky if you got two eggs.  Judd was nice and shared his eggs with kids who didn't get any!

Remi was a cheater.  He found a sucker along the way and decided to have a pre-treat!  Little fart.

Judd waiting patiently for the hunt to begin.

Enjoying a good ride around the house.  I thought I was so smart by an automatic one, so I didn't have to push him.  Unfortunately when we go outside I have to run like a chicken with its head cut off because he decides to explore beyond my eye sight.  Sometimes I can coax the other kids to go round him up.

Judd slickering down some good ole' mac & cheese.  Even though I love having a break while he is at preschool, I sure do enjoy when he gets home.  We talk over lunch about what he did while away.

This is ornery pants of America!  I have become accustomed to this screech when he isn't happy.  When I laugh or try to take a picture of his tantrum, he goes mid-evil.
No worries...a bath and 20 minutes later, he is all good.  He loves a good belly button rub.  It always soothes him.  Sometimes in the middle of the night he will wake up crying.  All I have to do is help him find his belly button, and it is back to snoozing away.

Dying Easter eggs with the family.  Judd loved every minute of it.
I handed Remi a permanent marker and a egg and told him to go to town.
He took full advantage of the 3 seconds I turned my head.
 Our finished product.
And....another finished product all over Remi's face.
I loved doing Easter eggs with the boys.  Judd always loves a good art project and was very particular about how he wanted them designed.

Easter Morning!
This year it was a little more difficult for Judd to find the eggs, but we solved the problem by playing the hot & cold game.
 Still looking
Remi shoved candy in his mouth as fast as he could.  I just love these two rascals.  I hope you all enjoyed Easter as much as we did!
