Odds & Ends

He makes me grin almost all the time.

I know this picture looks horrible with Remi shooting a gun right at me but it was kind of funny when it happened. Remi must have stumbled across one of Judd play guns and when I looked up to smile at him, he made a shooting sound with his mouth and pointed it straight ahead. We have been trying to teach the boys that we don't shoot at people but I don't think it is sinking in with the old Remsters! We will keep on working on it!

March is coming to an end and it is exciting to have warmer weather on the horizon. A couple of months ago Jon changed jobs, and I finally think we are adjusting to his new schedule. I am excited for summer because my tutoring job will be coming to an end and I won't feel like I am running around with my head cut off. It seems like when Jon is coming home from work, I am just leaving. One night when we were home together we decided to paint the garage (probably to show case his deer antlers better :))!

My little Remi loves his older brother, especially when he isn't teasing him.

Abbey!

The kids can roll over, pull, or push Abbey and she takes it like a champ. The black hair that accumulates on our floor or the mad dash to the door when it knocks drives me bonkers. But really she is a sweet little thing with bad gas most the time.

We are glad we have her. I for one love her when Jon is out of town. She makes me feel safe with her loud bark and eagerness to protect the boys.

Leprechaun Day!

Truth...Well, the Leprechauns got a little confused and came a day early. The house was covered in little green footprints and surprises were left on the counter for Judd & Remi. I babysit a little boy and when his mom dropped him off that morning, she looked at me like I had acorns coming out of my head. She informed me that those little green people came a day early! Oops. Judd decided that he was going to catch a Leprechaun and when he didn't successfully find one, he improvised. Poor Remi became a Leprechaun, whether he wanted to be one or not, and was roped in by Mr. Judd. Hope you all had a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Time Flies!

I love these two sugar boogers. They have brought so much joy to our family. I seriously want to stop time! Remi is the most lovable child. He loves to tease and his personality captures people's attention. He is as spunky as they come. Judd is a good boy, growing and learning. The other day I told him I was sorry for being impatient, and he responded with, "I'm sorry too." It stopped me in my tracks and made me realize how mature he is becoming. I love my boys!

Someone loves himself some Power Rangers! He is obsessed. I swear these outfits go on 100 times a day. I love his little imagination and he has his cart wheel down!

My new table got a new design. Judd decided to put his added touch with scratches made by a spoon (I was at work when it happened). When I noticed it, I was upset because we just purchased it. Judd and I talked about how disappointed I was and why he lost some privileges. He was very concerned about why I was sad and apologized. When I showed Jon, he said not to get too upset because those scratches will forever remind us of Judd and this stage of his life. I guess he is right.

Judd loves to practice writing his name. He seems to be finally getting the hang of it. Teaching your own child can be hard and frustrating. I am so thankful he has teachers to do it.

The fun things Judd does at preschool and playgroup. Judd is learning so much and absorbs everything. For the last couple of days Judd has been searching for leprechauns. Poor Remi has had to play the part of the leprechaun.

Nothing like playing with friends, watching a movie, and eating some popcorn. Life couldn't be any better.

Once upon a time this crumb grabber was quiet. Now this kid is a ball of fire, just like his brother Judd. But we love our fire balls!

It doesn't feel like we had much of a winter. Judd is disappointed that we never had to bring out the four wheeler to plow the walks! Maybe next year.
