Juddsta Rhymes

Poor Remkins puts up with a lot of craziness!

Judd is keeping it real with his summer shorts and winter cap.

This is my seductive look. Watch out ladies.

My little Judd is a handful but I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't believe how fast time flies, and soon enough I will be taking him to Kindergarten. I really, truly wish, I would have enjoyed motherhood when Judd was first born. I was so overwhelmed, stressed, wanted to do everything perfectly, that I kind of missed the boat on a lot of things. Now that he is three, I try to enjoy everything about him and remind myself during a tantrum (or two) that one day I will miss the heck out of it. I have to say that Judd is evolving into a little man and I am loving his sweet personality. He adores Remi and for some reason Remi thinks Judd is the bomb diggity. Remi squeals when Judd enters the room, yet cringes when Judd gets too close for comfort. On several occasions I have literally seen Remi catch some major air in his bouncy seat because his partner in crime (aka Judd) is testing the waters. Although Judd can be rambunctious I am noticing a positive change in his behavior. Jon and I were in shock this past Sunday when Judd sat through sacrament without a peep, and then followed it with going to class with no melt downs. Knock on hard wood that it lasts. I love motherhood and am so thankful for my boys. They are my little buddies and I love the snot right out of them.

What a Bust!!!

So we tried to go fishing and boy did it lick a big toe. Boy, oh boy....two kids fishing is a lot of work. It was so much easier with just one. Maybe we just weren't meant to go that day because everything went horribly wrong...

a) I forgot sunblock.
b) Judd fell a hundred and one times on the way to the beach. Scraped his elbow and hand.
c) Jon and I argued like the dickens...(b/c of the stress).
d) We didn't catch a thing.
e) I fell holding the baby in the snuggie and landed right on top of him (poor thing screamed bloody murder, luckily he wasn't too hurt).
f) Abbey our dog sliced her paw open on a broken glass bottle...blood everywhere.
f) Judd fell another three hundred times on the way back to the truck. Screamed the whole way back. People looked at us like we were beating him.

The only good thing about the trip was my $8 Walmart hat that shaded both my face and Remi. Love it!

Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum

Judd and some of his cousins were able to go to the Thanksgiving Point Museum. Judd has been begging me to go, so when we arrived he went into a dinosaur frenzy. He seriously couldn't control his excitement. He bounced off walls, shouting out all his discoveries. It is so fun to see him get excited over things.

Joy School Graduation

Cute Toni made these graduation caps.

Brett, Kamryn, Nathan, & Judd

Judd's had one of his first preschool graduations. Since Judd missed the cut off he has two more years of preschool so there will definitely be more preschool graduations to come. Maybe the other mothers would disagree but it was hard. When it was at my house Judd always acted the naughtiest, but I hear that is normal...hopefully. However, I did love it when it wasn't my week to teach because I had two tropical hours of bliss to get things done. Of course those times were filled with a stop to the gas station for my diet pepsi or a fun lunch break with friends. All I can say is that little breaks can really rejuvenate your spirits!

We had the little graduation at the park in our neighborhood. It was so fun getting to know the other moms in the group and I think they are all amazing. Judd will always remember Melissa (Nathan's Mom) for her dance moves, Katie (Kamryn's Mom) for her fun crafts, Toni (Brett's Mom) for her beautiful backyard and trampoline. He will remember me with visions of time out...what you do you do :). Thanks ladies for a terrific year. Judd loved it and asks on a daily basis why he isn't going to preschool anymore.

Kennecott Mine

This past weekend Jon and I took the boys to the Kennecott Mine in Herriman, Utah. Judd loves watching big trucks so we knew he would enjoy himself. Jon's sister, Laurie, was a good sport and came with us. She took some really cute pictures with the boys....I want her camera. If you have never been to the mine, you should go. It is only five dollars a car, and they have a cool visitor center and gift shop. Enjoy the pics! These are my pics and my camera licks!
