I felt like a Griswald

This year we decided to get a tree permit for Christmas.  We wandered up to Heber to find the perfect tree. It was whole day process, and I can't say everyone enjoyed every minute of it.  Remi was an ornery gizzard and Judd fell and wasn't impressed with the mud situation.  I got sassy because Jon kept passing some of the trees I felt were the "one," but he caved and went back to the spot I wanted.  Once we had lunch and were on our way home, the boys seemed to get excited about the prospect of decorating the tree.

 Cried the entire time!

I get in a dither when it is time to decorate.  Jon had to tell me a couple of times to settle down and that the point is to let the boys have fun.  Sometimes I need that little reminder not to be a perfectionist.
