No Good, Dirty, Rotten Wednesday!

Ever have one of those days where it seems like everything goes wrong? Well, today is one of those days for me. It started last night around 1am when I woke up for no apparent reason. Tossed and turned all night so I decided to watch a little t.v. Finally went to sleep at 4am. Ahh! Judd woke up at his usual time but when he got out of bed a stream of water followed him. Come to find out, last night he put on his own diaper (which was a swimmer diaper) and I guess it just can't hold what regular ones do. Therefore, I spent the morning cleaning pee from his bedroom to the front room. Gross! After Judd's bath and breakfast I let him go outside to play in his sandbox. Little did I know that he was utilizing his dump truck to its full extent. I looked out the sliding glass window to see random piles of sand on our patio, patio stairs, patio furniture, and lawn. Are you kidding me Judd? Decided to go grocery shopping because we are having friends over for dinner. Found myself in the clothing area looking for clothes to work out in. Decided to try some things on. While trying on clothes spotted something blackish in the corner of the dressing room but paid not attention to it, nor did I pay attention to Judd getting his little hands on it. After exiting the dressing room Judd was chewing on something. Had to literally restrain him so I could pry open his mouth to find out what he was chewing on. Well folks it was someones chewed up gum that had just been resting in the the dressing room. Upset me so much that I cried in the floral department of the grocery store. Don't ask me why...I was a real freak show. Left the grocery store. While trying to get Judd out of the grocery cart spilled his Sprite all over me and him because I think I have twelve hands. On the way home finally loosened up and laughed my rear end off at a guy who was riding a one wheel bike. The ones that clowns ride. For some reason it brought a smile to my face. Made my day. Hopefully you all are having a much better day then me!

Juddsta' Rhymes

Staying at home with Judd has been a ball! However it isn't always roses and fairy dust. There are times that neighbors might see me sitting on the front porch (having a little time out) because my little man is about to send me over the edge. One of my most favorite things about staying at home is that Judd gets to be involved in more playgroups, or just have little friends over to play. We are so fortunate to live in a neighborhood where there are kids, lots of them. I love watching Judd socialize and strut himself around his sand box like he owns the place. Every morning Judd wakes up and asks me about all his friends and what they are doing. Typically I can get him to do things (brushing teeth, eating, etc.) if I tell him that one of his friends is also doing it. Works like a charm. Hopefully it lasts awhile.

Judd is growing like a weed, talking up a storm, and keeping me on my toes at all times. I wanted to list a couple of things that he is doing so I can look back and remember this stage in life. Here goes:

1. He has become Mr. Independent. I can't help him with anything and if I do, he throws a complete fit. And, if he can't get it right (aka putting on his own shoes) he goes into orbit.
2. He repeats everything I say. I am working on not letting potty words slip out of my mouth b/c they come back to haunt me at the worst times.
3. He isn't into potty training at all. He thinks it is for the birds. I am giving him a vacation from it but we will be back in the saddle in a couple of months. Heaven help me!
4. He loves candy. So do I.
5. He loves to slip out the doggy door to go play in his sand box. I apologize to neighbors who see him naked in the backyard. He is fast.
6. He gets concerned when he sees people crying and wants to immediately know why they are upset.
7. He is shy at first but don't let him fool you. He is full of it.
8. He doesn't nap at all. There are times I take him for car rides to see if it will put him to sleep. It doesn't. So neighbors I am not crazy, stalking the neighborhood....just hoping for a small break.
9. He loves to take his dish to the sink after eating. Most the time nothing breaks or spills.
10. His favorite word is "Nope."

Craft Night!

Once a month a couple of girls get together to work on a craft. I am really not a crafty girl so I am kind of out of my element. However, it has been so fun. A night off to have some girl talk has been therapeutic. I am so excited about this month's project. We made cute wreaths and I actually was able to make my own fabric flowers. It wasn't easy and I received several burns from the hot glue gun, but it was well worth it. Thank you Katie for showing me how to make the flowers. Also, thank you Candance for hosting such a great craft night. Cans was a champ...she had sick girls and had to leave her own house during craft night to rush her little girl into InstaCare. Can't wait for next month's project! P.S. Mama is getting her roots done today. Aren't they horrible?
