Judd recently had another birthday. I remember giving birth to him, like it was yesterday. Since he was my first I was sooo nervous but I had Jon and my Mom by my side. When Judd came to us, he changed our lives. Everything about him was perfect. I remember gazing at him as he slept in my arms. I was so impressed by the definition in his little arms and how he looked like a mini Jon.
I feel like I got jipped when Judd was a baby. I loved having this new infant but we were tackling so many changes. I had Judd in Las Vegas and when he was two days old, I moved back to Utah. The economy had tanked in Las Vegas so Jon had already moved to Utah to work and I had to stay to finish my 5th year of teaching. We went from having this nice house in Vegas to living in a basement apartment that had spiders the side of my Judd (maybe not that big). I had no clue what I was doing and probably was a little post partum. When people advise you to enjoy every minute of them as babies, listen. I wish I could go back in time and not have been such a worry wart. I wish I would have ignored the dishes, vacuuming, and the extra fat around my entire body.
Judd is an amazing little boy. He has so much energy when he is at home and than becomes so shy out in public. He loves a good project and when he takes one on, he does it with great motivation. He has very tender feelings but can also be a little stinker, especially if Remi is involved. I can't believe how quickly he learns new things and retains it. I love that he sings new songs that he has learned at school or church. I am so thankful he came to us. We love our Judd and would do anything for him.
I was very impressed with Judd this night. I came home from work and found that Judd had helped Jon package his elk all night. Like I mentioned, he loves a good project.
Judd helped decorate for his birthday party. Sometimes I think he is going to be an interior designer when he grows up because he loves decorating.
We had a small party at home. We did so many fun things. I baked small little cakes for each of the kids. I let them frost and decorated however they wanted.

Next, we had a little pinata fun. Note to self, never buy a pinata from Walmart. It cracked at the first hit.
Scoring some candy.
What a cute bunch. Judd loved having his friends over.
Judd also loved opening presents. He got some really good gifts.
After gifts we had a silly string war but I didn't get any pictures. That was probably the funnest part. I wish I would have bought more silly string.
One exhausted birthday boy. The little devil sneaked into our bedroom and booted me out of bed.
The morning of his birthday he was so excited to get his bow and arrow. Look at that grin!
He loves, and I mean loves, homework. I hope it lasts.
