Totally Obsessed!

We took Judd fishing once and now that is all he talks about. He begs to go fishing every day when Jon gets home from work, so one night we finally gave in and headed up American Fork Cannon to Tibble Fort. On the way Judd fell asleep. After an hour of Jon fishing on his own, Judd decided to finally grace us with his presence. He was ornerier than all get out and had no patience. He wanted a fish on the hook immediately if not sooner. Finally we caught one and he was very excited. He wanted to hold it on the way home, but I refused....yuck!

Fishing!

Judd has been talking about fishing for weeks. I was thrown a little off guard when Jon announced at breakfast we were going on a fishing expedition but I figured it would give us something to do on such a dreary Saturday. Can you believe it is June, 50 degrees and raining!I can understand the raining but the temp. Anyway, we packed up and headed to Camas. We went through Provo Canyon and it was beautiful. The waterfalls were my favorite. In Heber we stopped for lunch and might I add-everyone in Heber (well at least the Arby's staff) is so nice. Most pleasant people I have ever met. We were greeted by a 16 year old, who looked like he just rolled out of bed, with a "Whaz Up!" What a cute little town. We ended up at this fish farm where no one was there because of the rain. We had the entire place to ourselves. Judd loved every minute of it, except for when the fish flopped on the ground by his feet. At one point I thought he was going in the small lake to get away from the flopping. My husband teased me that I was a nervous nelly the entire time but Judd got close to going in several times and he ran, more like sprinted, from one spot to the other. On the way home Judd told us that he caught 3 fish and that they should go in the garage. He was a little peeved when we dropped them off to his Grandpa because we are not fish eating people. We will have to go again when it is not so cold! Here are a few pics:
