I wish I could say that my lack of blogging is because our family has been on some exotic vacation or involved in fabulous activities, but really life has been same old...same old. As I stock other families on the internet, I wonder to myself why am I not that kind of mom? Are Judd and Remi going to cherish their childhood memories? Probably not, maybe, who knows. I hope to heck they do. What I have come to realize that with Judd, it is the small things that count. Each night as I review the day with Judd, I am shocked at what has made an impression on him...I love that the most delightful things in Judd's world, are centered around "JON," aka Dad.
I have started working again. A part-time job landed in my lap and I knew I should take it. I work nights, so Jon has been going solo. The house may look like a bomb has gone off when I get home but I don't care. The boys are happy and I appreciate Jon not complaining once about his nights being totally committed to diaper/dinner duty. My job involves me going into children's homes and tutoring them. Tutoring has reminded me why I went to school to become a teacher. I love making learning fun and interesting. I love teasing my students. I love getting to know the parents. I love that this job makes me want to speed home to be with my family!
Judd and Remi may be pains in the butt, but I sure do love them. I hope you know I say the previous comment with a huge smile on my face, because right now I am literally wrestling Remi for the keyboard. And boy, is he ripe. Remi's personality is taking on a shape of its own . He is a ball of cuteness, naughtiness, and everything in between. He isn't crawling, but his army crawl gets the job done. He imitates every action you do. When you tell him "No," he looks at you like he doesn't give a funnion. He has rearranged my Christmas ornaments a gazillion times. He puts up with Judd and for that he deserves a gold medal. Judd's little disposition is still as stubborn as they come, but the older he gets I see positive changes. He knows what he wants and does what he needs to get it. Unfortunately, he thinks his Christmas budget is limitless. Everyday he adds another thing he "has to have" to the list.
Well, this soon to be one year old needs a bum change.

Judd is a worker bee!

He helped me set up Christmas.

Making pizza for dinner.
