January Happenings

On January 1st, 2013, Judd lost his first tooth.  I think he was more excited for the tooth fairy to come than for Santa.

All he wanted was a new toothbrush.  The tooth fairy was sweet enough to leave a new angry bird's toothbrush and money.

Remi had croup awhile ago and just couldn't shake it.  Then he was hit with the tummy flu.

After a couple of days I finally got him back to eating and sleeping in his own bed.

It was my birthday this month and I got the best present ever.  Jon's cute sister, Laurie, babysat the kids one night.  Little did I know they worked on a birthday present for me.  Judd made this creation and I couldn't have been more pleased.  It is displayed in my kitchen for everyone to see.  I know it looks a little creepy but I sure love it.  Remi also made a craft that I should have taken a picture of too.

Judd has been playing wii fit.  He has been begging for a punching bag so Jon improvised and hung his sleeping bag.  Judd and Remi have both enjoyed a good boxing session.

The Dean family party.  All the grandkids sang for a talent show.

These boys make everything better.  Although they bust my chops on a daily basis, I love them so much.  I feel like Judd is growing up way too fast and I can't believe he will soon be going to Kindergarten.

At the end of the month I turn 21 weeks.  I am feeling much better but I feel like a buffulo, large and in charge.  I am already waddling which scares me because my hips hurt like the devil.  I can't believe we are having another boy.  I am excited and scared all at the same time.  The other night we all went to dinner.  Half way through Jon looked at me and asked how the sam hill are we going to do 3.

Christmas

I feel like I didn't even mention Christmas this year.  It is probably because I felt so horrible with morning sickness and heart burn.  So, now that it is almost February, I am finally jotting down some little memories.  Christmas Eve was very busy for us.  First we went to Grandpa & Grandma Bowen's house for a yummy dinner and to open presents.  Judd and Remi were so excited about their new blankets they received.  Judd got an angry bird blanket & Remi received Spiderman.  I am so thankful to have them because they are so warm during this freezing winter.

Our next stop was to the McNeil's house (sister & brother-in-law's house).  The kids enjoyed eating my mom's yummy carmel popcorn and watching a cute Christmas movie.  It was cute to see my Dad wipe away  tears as he watched the show.  I was actually impressed with how well both my boys watched the movie.

Judd wouldn't let his new blanket out of his sight.

Our last stop was to Grandma Kris' house (Jon's mom), where Remi snoozed and Judd opened his last day of the twelve days of Christmas.  Grandma Kris made the boys the cutest pjs you ever did see.

Christmas morning was fun.  It is so magical for the kids.  I think Judd is starting to understand the hype of Christmas and why we celebrate it!  Remi could of got suckers only for Christmas and he would have been as pleased as punch.

Judd wanted a wii and the game Skylanders, and luckily that is what he received, even though he was threatened with coal for being a little stinker at times.
