For Jon's birthday, we decided to do another camping trip to Potter's Pond. This time Kris (Jon's Mom), Laurie (Jon's Sister), and James (our nephew) came along. We had fun, even if it rained a lot. Laurie helped a ton with the kids. She is so creative and when things get boring she knows how to get the kids to use their imagination. Kris was a ball. It was fun listening to her stories about her own childhood. I tease her a lot and I am glad she can handle my sense of humor.
Remi looking for trouble. He is a ton of work. I feel like he has to be continually strapped in his high chair or pack and play. Thank goodness Aunt Laurie was with us to entertain him. She was a life saver.
James having a sipperoo.
Don't let him fool you. This child did more hitting, scratching, and pinching on this trip. We all got whacked a time or two.
Mr. Unmanageable. His face looked this messy the entire trip.
Judd could not leave his fishing pole alone. Once Jon set it all up, Judd would mess around with it. I am sure it was driving Jon crazy, but he was patient.
Potter's Pond is beautiful.
Judd reeling one in.
Someone made out with his Doritos, can you tell?
The boys found a little fort and decided to set up chairs and hang out for awhile.
Jame, Judd, & Remi
I look like I just rolled out of bed. Camping really makes you feel beautiful, not!
Dear Remi...words cannot describe how naughty you were on this trip.
Going on a ride with Dad.
Remi wanted to be just one of the boys.
Like Father, Like Son!
We had to trap him one way or another. The entire time Jon was being tortured by Remi.
Wouldn't be camping without a little dirt on your nose.
James was adorable the entire time. He is so quiet and sweet. He loved being able to hang out with Uncle Jon.
Judd left his helmet out during a rain storm so we had to get creative when he wanted to put it on for another ride.
James loves his helmet and wears it even if he isn't on a four wheeler.
Being silly around the camp fire.
