Things I Want to Remember

So Judd had a couple of friends (who are brothers) over today and when their Mom came to pick them up, one of the little boys cried because they wanted to stay longer to play. To help this Mom out, I got a sucker out to give to the boy and told him he could come back tomorrow. Of course this boy's little brother began to ask for a sucker, and if I didn't find one, i knew tears were sure to come. After digging through my pantry, I finally found another sucker. Jokingly I said, "it is a Christmas miracle that I found that sucker". Seconds later Judd said, "I want a Christmas miracle". Thank goodness I found an extra sucker for Judd. As the family exited the house the 3 year old called out "Happy Holidays". I guess we still have some "Christmas Spirit" lingering around the house.

Picture Dump!!!

So very excited about this little purchase. A new table for our home...well, new to us but we bought it from my sister's neighbor for a whopping $50.00. We had a tall table but it wasn't working for us. It was hard for the small ones to get on and off the high chairs and for many years I have wanted a regular size table. I love it and Judd thinks it is pretty cool that he can do crafts while standing.

Judd-o-licious...Juddkins...Judd-O-Rama. Love me some of this kid!

Remi...He is my little pumpkin pants!

I have been very worried about my Remi. He still is just doing the army crawl and wasn't too interested in pulling himself up. My sister-in-law suggested having Kids on the Move come to assess him because when we made he stand he would scream his little head off. We were worried that something was hurting him. Within days of calling them he started pulling himself up like a mad man, so needless to say the appointment got cancelled.

Yes, he did go in fully dressed. Fortunately I was there to pick him right up.

He responds to all questions like this. I trained him to tell people he turned one but now he thinks that every question presented should be answered with the number one finger!

Yup...that's my poop face!

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day!

I accidentally flipped the pictures so you see Christmas Day before Christmas Eve (I am too lazy to change it). As I mentioned before, I had a hard time feeling the Christmas spirit this year, but in the end I eventually found it. I feel like the last week leading up to Christmas was jammed packed with Christmas events that allowed us to have fun as a family. Christmas Eve included two visits, one to Grandpa Bowen's house for a yummy dinner and opening of presents. Then we went to Granny Law's house (my mother-in-law) to get Christmas pjs and do the Nativity. On Christmas Day I was ache and not myself. I thought it might be exhaustion, but the next day I figured it out. I pucked my guts out uncontrollably...the tummy flu hit, and it hit hard. I hate, hate throwing up! It was awful. Luckily, knock on hard wood, the rest of the family doesn't get it. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Remi & Jon watching Judd open his presents. Jon's mom gave them the matching pjs.
Remi enjoying his stocking stuffer...cotton candy.
Judd was excited to get a batman shirt from Santa.
All their loot!
