Remilicious

My little Remi is such a stud. He just had his 9 month appointment. Judd was such a big kid that when we hear Remi is in the 3% for height and 10% for weight, we get a little nervous. I told his doctor that if he doesn't start growing, I will probably have to take him to his junior prom. He seriously is the sweetest little thing. He may be getting tubes, since he is on his 4th ear infection in the last two months. I worry that he isn't crawling yet but then again I haven't given him much tummy time. His favorite thing to do is grab everything in sight. I have seen him pull an entire dessert platter over in 3.2 seconds. He loves to grab your face and pull it in for a major smooch. Oh how I adore this little dumpling.

Fall is in the Air!

I am looking forward to cooler weather, with delightful plush sweaters and warm hot chocolate. Today I took out the Halloween decorations and Judd was in October heaven. I love that Judd is at an age where he gets excited for holidays. It is also his birthday this month and I can't believe he is turning 4. Where did the time go? I am loving his little disposition and am so thankful I get to be his mom. What a little buddy he is!

Today he had a little friend over and they crafted their little rear ends off. I loved listening to him ask his friend what he was going to be for Halloween. Judd is sooooo excited to be an owl.

Dance Off!

My husband has always said that the Johnson's celebrate birthdays for a week, instead of a day, and for Olivia's birthday we did not disappoint. After a birthday weekend in park city, we headed to Jim and Kim's for one last hoorah! After dinner we had an intense game of kick ball and then headed inside for a dance off. I am pretty impressed with the boys in our family. They really know how to cut a rug. I think the highlight was watching Nickie take the floor. She is very competitive and she wasn't letting anyone win this one!

Olivia's Birthday Weekend!

Seriously, I should be in bed right now but I can't sleep. So, I decided to download some pics from this weekend. My beautiful niece Olivia has a birthday this Monday so we decided to celebrate at my sister Nickie's cabin. It was suppose to be a girls only weekend but Remi tagged along because he isn't taking a bottle very well. I think poor Remi has another ear infection(hello tubes) and his tummy hurt. We went to bed at 4 am and woke up at 9 am. You know when your passed exhaustion so you can't sleep and then you get ticked because you can't sleep, well that is me now! Anyway, I love spending time with my mom, sisters, and nieces. Of course there is always some drama that comes along with all girls, but I can honestly say they are my best friends.

My mom is so sweet and does what ever she can to help us. She always keeps us laughing because she is as deaf as a door nail. We will say something, she will say, "huh," and then repeat what she thinks we said. It is alway so, so, off. Poor thing. Maybe Santa Clause will bring hearing aids this Christmas.

I love watching the relationship my sister Kim has with her girls. Kim is so good at communicating with her kids, and it was apparent that her boys were missing her at home because they called every two minutes. Instead of getting annoyed at them, she just sat and talked to them while we continued to shop. Although Olivia and Grace can annoy one another, it is so apparent they would do anything for each other. It was fun watching cute Gracie get excited to buy Olivia a bday present with her own money. Olivia was so excited about this trip. She had it all planned out, a little shopping and relaxation at the cabin. I don't know where the time has gone but Olivia is growing into a beautiful girl.

Nickie has endless amounts of energy that I crave to have. She drove us there, brought food for us to eat, and let us all stay at their family cabin. Nickie has always been generous. When I was younger, she would take me to lunch every year for my birthday. She would check me out of school, let me invite a friend, and take us to Artic circle. I loved it! She too is a great mom. She adores her boys and was constantly calling them to see how they did in their soccer games.

I hope we can keep this tradition alive of spending time with one another up at the cabin. I too missed the snot out of Judd & Jon but it was nice to have some time away.

Still as sweet as they come. I sure missed Judd!

Riverton Park

Judd & Landon (Cortney's boy)
My cute cousin Cortney and her handsome little Landon met us at the park. While the boys played, Cortney and I enjoyed eating lunch and chit chatting. It is funny because it takes the boys about 20 minutes to warm up, before they will start interacting (& stop bugging us :)). I adore Cortney and wish I could be more like her. She is beautiful in every way and such a good friend. I just love her to pieces and am so glad I have her in my life. I wish I had taken a picture of us also!

Updates!

At playgroup Judd got to make a cool chef's hat and bake cookies. He has become so shy and quiet. The cute mom who ran the playgroup said he wouldn't let her measure his head, but when he came home he wanted to wear this bad boy all day while baking with me.

So, Jon and his family had a weight lose competition and Jon won three hundred dollars. I am very impressed how dedicated he was.
My mother-in-law (Kris), Remi, and Casey
Four wheeling with cousins. Judd, James, & Marshall. This is their favorite thing to do when we visit at Kris' house.
I tried to make Judd's costume for Halloween. He wants to be an owl but Jon doesn't think it looks "manly."

Went to Layton to visit my sister's family (Kim & Jim). Judd loves family visits and so do I!

JuDdKiNs & ReMiKiNs

These past few weeks have been hard because all of us have been sick. On Saturday, Jon & I felt like total doggy doo, but we were so stir crazy we picked up lunch and took the kids to the park. Judd seems to be over the hump of being sick so he enjoyed the park, while the rest of us sat on the bench and felt like death warmed over. Although Remi has been sick with two ear infections he still has a cute little disposition.

Preschool Round #2

Judd started his second round of preschool this year! Last year he did Joy School but this year I enrolled him in a neighborhood preschool. Judd was very excited to go because he wanted to get to his apron that he decorated at the open house a week prior. As we approached the preschool door he too eagerly pushed my hand away and told me I could leave. I am not going to lie, it kind of hurt my feelers, but I know he was just really excited. With much force I kissed him goodbye (he wasn't into it all), and then wanted to do back flips naked because I knew I was going to get some major grocery shopping done with one less child. Oh how I miss him, but oh how I love the 2 hour break!

Remi and I both take advantage of the one on one time we have together. We party like rockstars...well I do, Remi naps!

Please Let It Be Teething!

This little guy must be teething something fierce. No more good naps, just a lot of crying and wanting to be held. But, I don't mind because he is my little pumpkin. Is it weird that I enjoy when he wakes up in the middle of night for a feeding because I get to snuggle?

Love these two farts!

Four Wheeling in Herriman

One of Judd's favorite things to do is go to Herriman to ride four-wheelers with the Dansie family. Jon has taught Judd how to scout for deer. This trip we got to see two fawns, which reminded me of the show Bambi (I wondered where their mom was). They just sat and watched us ride around. We also spotted a nice four-point (look at me know all the terminology). Remi loved riding with Jon and Judd. I rode behind them and it was fun to watch Remi's little bird hair move side to side. His little toes would curl every time they hit a bump and eventually relax, just to have it happen all over again with a bump.
