2014

2014 has had a rough start.  I think having to say good bye to Abbey has really left a sadness in my heart.  I know some may not understand, but having Abbey die has made me unbearably sad.  I keep thinking she is going to greet me at the garage door when I walk in.  Or, I still put all the food up so she doesn't get it.  Sometimes I catch myself calling her name to come eat leftovers on the floor.  She really was such a huge part of our family and I hope there is a Heaven where she is running and playing.  Any who....life goes on.

I feel bad because I have really neglected this blog.  I didn't even post about Remilious' birthday in December.  To celebrate we took the boys bowling with Jon's family and he had such a fun time.  Afterwards we went out for pizza, where of course Remi only wanted to eat the little bits of ham from the salad bar.  Remi is one of kind.  When God made him he knew what he was doing.  This kids loves life to the fullest.  He may be short but when he walks into to a room he owns it (this has been said to me by many).  Everyone knows Remi is in the house.  The other day when I took him to his yearly check up, the doctor asked him his name.  His response, "Rem-Shuckle-Moose."  We started calling him this after he became obsessed with watching a moose documentary on Netflix.  It has kind of stuck with him.  I guess we need to let him know that is not his real name.  I feel so blessed to have this ball of fire.  Hopefully he is not the death of me, if you get what I mean.

Winter has been way too long.  Now that Judd is in school, my little Remi gets bored and asks on a minute basis, "Where's Judd?"  It has been a lot of Ipading, netflix, and other indoor activities.  We decided one night to make cookies.  I really shouldn't because it is me who eats them all.

Remi terrorizes poor little Stetson.  The problem is that Stetson doesn't cry when he is doing it so I really have to watch him.  Stetson adores his brothers and literally jumps out of my arms when he sees Judd.  He definitely just wants to be one of the boys.

Remi has learned how to get a drink from the bathroom, thanks to his brother teaching him.

I have been trying so so hard to lose my baby weight with not much success.  I swear I am the unluckiest person when it comes to the aftermath.  Many lose while breastfeeding...I do not.  Many lose it right after breastfeeding...I do not.  It really is a constant battle.

The night we put Abbey down.  She was so sick.  When we took her in on Saturday she weighed 49 pounds.  The day we put her to sleep she weighed 61 pounds.  All of her fluid from her heart was just going to her belly and she couldn't breath.

Judd and I have our good days and our bad.  He really knows how to test the waters but for the most part he is a good boy.  I constantly am amazed how quickly he has learned to read.  He is a quick learner.  He must have gotten that from his Dad because I think I am a first class airhead.  He adores Stetson and constantly wants to hold him.  If one of his brothers is upset he wants to help them.  I love these boys of mine!

Auntie Laurie gave Judd a cool science kit for Christmas.  One day Jon helped the boys build a cool volcano.  Judd was so excited to watch it erupt.  So anticlimactic. However, the other two projects were really fun so it made up for it.
