Much Needed Update!

It has been a rough couple of weeks!  A couple of days before Thanksgiving, Judd had his tonsils out.  What a horrible surgery.  The first couple of days were okay but on day 3 all heck broke out.  The poor kid was miserable and has lost 10 pounds.  Today is probably the first day he has felt half decent. I hate when my kids are in pain more than anything.  It was very hard to see Judd in so much pain.

Thanksgiving went well.  Of course I forgot to take pictures, which really bums me out.  We had Thanksgiving at our house again this year with Jon's family.  After dinner they all played Nerts, which I have no clue how to play.  It was nice listening to hear them all laughing, as they cheated their rear ends off through the entire game.   Later that night we went to my parents house for dessert and then made a quick stop at Grandma and Grandpa Bowen's house.  Thanksgiving is a busy day but I love spending time with all of my family.

Stetson is having a surgery soon, which makes me really nervous.  I am thankful that it is a minor surgery, but it still makes me uneasy.  Stetson is getting too big, too fast.   He is the sweetest little thing.  One of my favorite things about him is the smile he gives you behind his bink.  He really is a good boy.  Before Judd's surgery, I went on a quick girls trip with my sisters and cousin, Cortney.  I took Stetty because he won't take a bottle.  Seriously though, you wouldn't have even known he was with us because he was such a good boy.  He loves his brothers so much.  When he gets a little ornery, all you have to do is put him with his brothers.  He settles right down.  Stetson is rolling around like a mad man and his tummy muscles are getting quit strong because he is constantly doing sit ups.  We are so thankful to have this little angle.

The boys love a good roll of tape and boxes.  This was their train.

This child is naughty with a capital "N."  He keeps us on our toes constantly.  I think he gets away with a lot more than Judd ever did.  He loves to pinch and run off.  He is obsessed with Caillou and would watch it all day if he could.  Remi loves his playgroup and asks about every morning if it is that day.  He isn't into potty training at all, but I am not pushing it.  Remi is something else.  I wish I could freeze time because he is fun at this stage.

I love my new rooster necklace and when I look at it I am reminded of my sisters and cousin, Cortney.  I bought it in St. George when I went on my little get away (I am also wearing it with a cute necklace I bought from my cute neighbor (brin&bell).  Anyway, I adore my sisters and cousin.  Yes, they can drive you crazy at times but my sisters and Cortney are my great friends.  We can talk about anything and they are such good examples to me.  I am so thankful that Jon encouraged me to go and have some time away to recharge myself.

My Judd always love a good project.  He love helping his Dad clear the walks when it snows.  He is soaring in Kindergarten and loves learning new things.  This kid is shy around others but a goof ball at home (teeters on being obnoxious :).  He can't wait for Christmas and it trying really hard to be a good boy.  Remi, not so much.  I love my boys more than anything!  I am glad they are ours forever.
