Remi digs the ipad and will try to get his little paws on it every chance he gets. As you can see Judd has the DS in the background. Sometimes I have to pull out the big guns so I can get the house picked up or just to stay sane for a couple of minutes.
I love the game he is playing because it teaches them to match shapes with shapes. At first he would get so frustrated with it because he couldn't figure out the matches but now he is a pro.
Judd came home with this little number from preschool and wore it around the house proudly. I love the little crafts he comes home with...they kind of make me giggle.
We went to Thanksgiving Point Farm with the Scott family. Little did we know there would be a thousand children there for a field trip, so we got the wagon and horse ride completed before we had to stand in a long lines. By the way, when the sam hill did Thanksgiving Point get so expensive? $6 dollars for an adult! Didn't it used to be $2? Poor Remi was torn with the whole horse ride experience. He wanted to ride the horse, but when I put him on he would cry, so then I would take him off and he would cry again because he wanted back on.
Judd rode the horse like a pro and made sure he wore his cowboy boots for the occasion.
Gentry & Seni (Misitie's little girls), Judd, and Brayston the little boy I tend. Remi was suppose to be in the picture, but little did I know the little devil wondered back to the horses and scared the death out of me. Luckily Mistie found the little pill!
Wagon Ride!
Remi taking the old tractor for a spin.
Petting a little goat. All the kids are too cute. I think it is pretty cool that my friend and I have kids the same age.
Judd's soccer game. Remi is a complete, utter pill during soccer games. He bites, pinches, slaps, jumps on your back, throws his sipee on the field...the list could go on and on. You name it, he does it. Sometimes I think a straight jacket is the best solution. I can't even concentrate on watching the game because Jon and I are taking turns on getting harassed by him. During this game his head clashed with mine and it felt like my jaw popped out of socket. The next morning I pushed and yanked and finally another pop occurred and I wasn't in so much pain. Little stinker!
Judd is getting the hang of soccer. Sometimes he is aggressive and scores 4 out of 6 goals, and at other times he is apprehensive and nervous to get the ball. Sometimes he even throws in a little leap or skip out on the field. At this game he said he was nervous because there were "big" kids on the other team but I had to remind him they weren't any bigger than him. He is one of the tallest. Jon sometimes has to call me "Ron Junior" to settle me down because I get a little competitive and start hollering commands at Judd, which totally confuses him. Bless my father's little heart. Sometimes I just need to take a chill pill.
Remi gets one point for being cute but ten points for being a little you know what!
So I have to admit I have been nesting a little bit. I cleaned the snot out of the baby's room so he is free to come now whenever! Again the ipad is out because Jon was outside mowing and Remi wanted out but he would have been run over!
Remi is obsessed with hats. He usually cycles through about three a day. My favorite is the cowboy hat. When we go shopping, which ususally consists of Ross, he will find one and put it on without me evening realizing it. A time or two I have had to go back into the store to return the hat we made off with!
