When I think of Summer it reminds me of the song..."You put the lime in the coconut and shake it all up." Summer for me is a double edge sword....the heat is a killer but you can do so many fun things. This summer we have been hitting our community pool. It is fun to get to visit with neighbors while the kids swim. Remi isn't much a fan but Judd wasn't at his age either. The pics I took aren't that great because my camera is broken. Even though I have it on the automatic flash setting, it still won't flash so the pictures are blurry or dark. I need to buy a new one soon because I feel like I am missing out on some good pics of the boys.
Remi is more into climbing around than swimming. He is ball of thunder these days. He loves, and I mean loves, to antagonize Judd. I have had to separate them in the car because Remi likes to pinch, pull, or tear your face off. Naughty pants.
This is the first summer Judd has wanted to swim. Today I had to tell him to stop doing a flip when entering the water because he almost hit his head on the concrete. I love days when we swim because he is exhausted come evening and bedtime isn't such a fight.
Judd loves playing with Brayston, the little boy I babysit. They are like brothers. They love playing with each other but they can also fight over a toy or two. It is so fun for Judd to have a playmate his age.
Nothing better than a slurpee after swimming for hours. Like I said my pic quality is horrible.
Remi is at a stage where is loves to pose and say "cheese"
Booger Nose!
I just love being able to stay home with these little guys. They are hard work but it is well worth it.

I just can't get over how cute Remi is. His eyes are the best! Porter is the same way with Scout with the hitting, teasing, hair pulling- little terrorists! I can always tell by Scout's cry that Porter is being naughty pants- and then I hear "Noooo Poooooooorter." So funny!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a fun mom! Send a little of your heat our way. We went camping last night and got rained on big time... I am missing my sunshine!
