Walking Finally

Remi is finally walking.  He just turned 17 months and I was worried he would be the only child going to nursery not walking.  His walk has gone from a "Frankenstein" style (where his arms went straight forward) to a now  "Faster than a Speeding Bullet."  Of course there are more bumps and bruises on his head because I feel like his body can't catch up to his feet, and he just hasn't quite figured out a more graceful landing.   He is full of the dickens.  I love the sweet and spicey smile he launches at you when he is doing something naughty.  When he gets embarrassed, shy, or in trouble, he can whip out the best scowl you ever did see.  If looks could kill, you would be dead :).  He launches almost everything across the room.  The other night the boys were eating Mac & Cheese, and Judd started yelling/crying.  When I walked into the kitchen the entire dining table and Judd were covered in Mac & Cheese (it was literally plastered on Judd's forehead), because Remi was throwing it from his high chair while giggling like a school girl.  In addition, a poor women sitting in front of us at church got nailed by Remi's milk bottle because he chucked it while sitting on my lap.    Good Gracious.  My most favorite thing about him is that he loves to tease and he is good at it.  He likes to get a response from you  and if there isn't one, he will do one of the two things....pinch or slap you.  We are teaching him to be "soft" and he is learning that it isn't okay to tear someone's nose or ear off.  I truly love him more than my luggage and would like to nibble his toes off, one at a time!
